Toshihiko Haruoka

Born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1996. After graduating from Fukuoka ECO Animal and Marine College in Fukuoka, he started working at Nagasaki Bio Park. He was in charge of a wide range of animals including capybaras, hippos, kangaroos, and insects. After the zoo was forced to close due to the Corona disaster, he considered bringing the zoo online through SNS and other means, and took on the role of public relations while also working as a zookeeper. In 2021, he became a full-time public relations manager for the expansion of the SNS business, which is now being picked up by more and more media outlets and the scale of each SNS is expanding. He is constantly communicating “coexistence between animals and humans” through videos and photos.
